Since Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris suffered a fire more than three months, its reconstruction project has aroused debate worldwide. In May, GoArchitect, an independent publishing company in the United States, launched a competition to solicit contributions from global designers for the creation of “Building Camp 101”. “The People’s Notre-Dame Cathedra” would be elected through a referendum. Although the competition had nothing to do with French officials, it was still quite fierce. Two months later, 226 participants from 56 countries submitted their ideas and 30,000 voted for six entries. Let’s take a look at the 6 shortlisted designs.
