What information should architects/designers prepare for a render firm to create renderings?

Some clients/architects/designers, especially those who have never cooperated with render firm, are very confused about what information they need to provide to render firm to make renderings. We collated a project information list as below which is a good guidance to understand what render firm may need. As much information as possible is helpful. If you are still confused whether your information is enough or not. Don’t worry! We will check after receiving your project files, and will ask if need more information.

Exterior Rendering

  • Plans & elevations in DWG, or 3D model in SU, Revit, Rhino, etc.
  • Material schedule.
  • Landscape plan and plants schedule if you have.
  • Camera angle selections with each mood(day/night/sunset) defined.
  • Reference images for the style/quality/mood you would like to achieve.
  • Site location.

Interior Rendering

  • Plans & elevations in DWG, or 3D model in SU, Revit, Rhino, etc. (including furniture layout).
  • Furniture list with reference images. Please let’s know whether you require all the furniture to be exactly the same as your selection, or similar style would be OK?
  • Material schedule.
  • Reference images for the style/quality/mood you would like to achieve.

You are in great shape if you have all of them. If you just have hand-drawn floor plans or a rough sketch, that’s fine, too! We can work off just about anything, but the more information you can provide, the better to promote understanding of it by us. VizPaw is always on the way to export photo-realistic rendering & animation worldwide. Please write to us now for your projects. We are very pleasure to help to fulfill your intention.
